A WSN Privacy Policy is characterized by three types of classes: Node , Data, and
Action . Nodes interact among them inside the network in order to perform some kind
of actions on data. Thus, an instance of WSN PrivacyPolicy is characterized by
specific instances of Node , Data , and Action , and by the relationships among such
entities. Now, let us focus on the classes introduced by the diagram.
1) Node . It represents a member of the network either interested in processing data or
involved by such a processing. Nodes are characterized by functions and roles (see
Figure 2).

More specifically:
- Role [13] is a key concept of this approach; in fact, nodes are characterized
